¹⁵ But You, O Lord, are a God ^(A)compassionate and gracious,
Slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and ^[a]truth.
^16 (B)Turn to me, and be gracious to me;
Oh ^(C)grant Your strength to Your slave,
And save the ^(D)son of Your maidservant.
^17 [b](E)Show me a sign for good,
That those who hate me may ^(F)see it and be ashamed,
Because You, O Yahweh, ^(G)have helped me and comforted me.
